This fall our high school students will be producing a 1940’s radio hour Christmas musical!  Click on the link for full details on I’ll Be Home for Christmas!!  Then join us in the spring for our full Broadway musical production.

This class will talk about many aspects of theater production. First, we will focus on a variety of aspects such as: script writing, music composition, coreography, directing, etc. Then we’ll talk about technical theater aspect such as: staging, sound, lighting, costume and make-up. We’ll bring in some guest expert artists to share with our students. Finally we will focus on bringing it all together and create a final production. This class will be completely online for all students including the final performance. Students can choose to be as involved or not in each phase of the production. This is the perfect class for students who want to try out all the different aspects of theater. If you are in any of the other production classes, you may also take this class to grow in your skills.

We are excited to introduce our NEW Technical Theater class for grades 8-12!  In this class students will learn how to do designs and how to carry them out in set, lighting, sound, props, costuming, and hair/make-up.  Students will be working with the director of our Senior Production and will be the ones to help design and create everything needed for “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” which is a 1940’s radio hour style musical.

Classes will be a combination of online and in-studio.  Online classes through Zoom will take place on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm beginning the week of August 31st and going through December 17th.  Some weeks we will meet on a Saturday in the studio instead of online so that we can do the building, construction, and creating together.   Students will be involved on the filming day which will be Friday, December 18th.

Tuition for this one-hour class will be $55 per month (September through December).

Does your child like to sing, dance and act? Then we have the perfect class for them! Our Musical Review class will have so much fun as they learn about acting, singing, and dancing on the stage while preparing a review of a Broadway musical. The review will include several scenes and songs from a Broadway show which they will perform for family and friends at the end of the semester.   Our fall and spring sessions will be based on different musicals so students can join us for one session or both!

Our Imagine It! theater classes are for our youngest performers!  Students will get to create characters and stories using props and costumes and most of all – their imaginations!  Just imagine going to the moon, or visiting a castle, or trekking through the jungle.  All of this is possible with a little bit of creativity!  Students will also learn about using emotions and will get a taste of being on stage when they put on a performance for their family and friends at the end of the semester!  Students will work on different projects each semester so that they can take one or both sessions.

Tuition

Our tuition rates are shown below. Tuition for all dance, theater, and music classes (with the exception of some of the production classes and private lessons) is calculated by the hourly tuition rate. Simply total the combined hours in class to find your student’s rate.  Example: If your student is enrolled in the Theater Combo class (a 1.5 hour class) and a Tap and Dance for Musical Theater class (a 1 hour class) your child would be in a total of 2.5 hours of class.  This would make your monthly tuition $100.

* Tuition for the senior, junior, and online production classes and any private lessons cannot be included in the hourly rate.  Those classes have set fees which are listed in the description of each class.  They are not eligible for any discounts other than the sibling discount.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $45 due with registration. This registration fee is per family/per school year. Tuition is due on the 10th of each month.  A $15 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by that date.  We offer a $10 per month sibling discount.

For additional important tuition information (such as due dates, late fees, etc.) as well as dress code details, and what to bring to class, please refer to our handbook.
