About Our Studio
Welcome to Arts Avenue Theater and Dance Studio. As a Christian theater, dance, and music studio, we believe it is important to provide an avenue to learn different art forms in a setting that is committed to strong ethical, moral, technical and artistic standards of excellence.
Our classes stimulate learning, produce excellence, build self-confidence, and foster joy in the creative process. All of this is accomplished in a safe and supportive environment. We want our students and their parents to realize their ability to contribute high quality work in the arts without compromising their values.
Each class is taught by a skilled instructor, most with professional experience in their art. The teachers love kids and have a desire to nurture students and be positive role models as they teach theater, dance and music fundamentals while having a fun time!
We also offer opportunities for students who have demonstrated excellence in their art and who have a desire to teach to join our team. Student teachers begin their teacher training as class assistants. After assisting for a couple of years and going through teacher training classes/workshops, our student teachers are given an opportunity to co-teach with another student teacher. After a successful year in that position, our high school student teachers are then given a class of their own while continuing to be observed and guided by our owner and dance director. We are excited about this opportunity to train the next generation of teachers!
Feel free to e-mail, call, or visit us at our studio for more details!
