Junior Production

Disney’s, “Frozen, Jr.”

Join us this fall as our junior production class (grades 6th-8th) produces Disney’s enchanting Frozen Jr.!  This musical brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Class Time: Mondays 4:30-6:00pm for grades 6th through 8th.  Classes will begin on August 26th and will run through the performances towards the beginning of February.

Towards the beginning of August, registered students will receive detailed information on auditions which will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 2:30-5:00pm.  Everyone registered in the class is in the show – these auditions are just for parts.  Performances are TENTATIVELY set for February 6th, 7th and 8th with technical rehearsals on February 1st, 3rd, and 4th.

TUITION and FEES: Tuition for this one and one-half hour class is $70 per month (September through February).  There are no additional production or costume fees.  Arts Avenue provides all costumes, props, and sets (although we love it when parents help us out finding or making everything on our work days)!

8th Graders: Students who are in the 8th grade and enrolled in our “Frozen, Jr.” production class, are eligible to be in the Chorus of our senior production of “Cinderella”.  These students do NOT need to audition for Cinderella and will NOT need to attend every rehearsal.  Students will receive a detailed rehearsal and performance schedule so that they know when they will be needed.  There will not be any additional monthly tuition added for Cinderella, but there is a $125 production fee for the 8th graders due by the first week of class (August 26th).
